A very interesting game took place in Kinna. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 10th ranked Mark (1-11) to eighth ranked Visby Ladies (4-9) 59-58 on Sunday evening. Mark was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 18-11 charge of Visby Ladies, which allowed them to win the game. They held Mark to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.3 percent accuracy of the winners. The best player for the winners was American guard Zakiya Saunders (175-95, college: Cent.Florida) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import guard Branndais Agee (180-94, college: Michigan St.) chipped in 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Visby Ladies' coach Eivind Mostl used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Canadian guard Paloma Anderson (155, college: Acadia) produced 22 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and American forward Chase Coley (190, college: Iowa) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts.
