Very important is a home loss of third ranked Dragonflies (25-12) against fourth ranked Orange Vikings (16-21) on Sunday night. Host Dragonflies were defeated by Orange Vikings in a tough game in Hiroshima 85-90. Orange Vikings looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) fired a double-double by scoring 58 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds for the winners. Forward Taishi Kasahara (188-89) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Carl Landry (206-83, college: Purdue) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Terrell Miller-Jr (203-95, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Orange Vikings maintains fourth place with 16-21 record, which they share with Yamagata. Newly promoted Dragonflies keep the third position with 12 games lost. Orange Vikings will meet league's leader Shinshu BW in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dragonflies will play against the league's second-placed Cyberdyne IR and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
