Superliga top team - Prishtina (16-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Borea (3-14) in Peja 140-52. Prishtina dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Borea's 36 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Prishtina forced 46 Borea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 46 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Borea's players. International point guard Valon Bunjaku (185-98) nailed a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds, 21 assists and 12 steals for the winning side and international point guard Altin Morina (194-92) accounted for 34 points (!!!), 11 assists and 7 steals (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Five Prishtina players scored in double figures. Point guard Albin Berisha (186-2) came up with 19 points and 4 assists and Aron Laja added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Borea in the defeat. Prishtina have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 16-0 record. Borea lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. Prishtina will meet at home Bashkimi (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Borea will play against Lipjani and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
