There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked UCC Piacenza (8-12) defeated higher ranked Tezenis VER (11-9) in Casalpusterlengo 72-59 on Sunday. Naturalized Nigerian forward Francesco Ihedioha (196-86, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American guard Toure Murry (196-89, college: Wichita St.) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four UCC Piacenza players scored in double figures.
