Thirteenth-ranked Miasto Szkla (4-14) used its home court advantage to challenge fifth ranked BM Slam Stal (13-5) in Krosno on Sunday. The visitors from Ostrow Wlkp. managed to secure only three-point victory 82-79. However their fans expected much easier game. Serbian guard Nemanja Jaramaz (200-91, agency: Alti Sport) notched 18 points and 6 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 12 points and 9 rebounds. BM Slam Stal's coach Wojciech Kaminski allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 23 points and 5 assists by American point guard Jabarie Hinds (180-92, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for Miasto Szkla. Forward Maciej Bojanowski (200-96) added 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five Miasto Szkla players scored in double figures. BM Slam Stal have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 13-5 record. Loser Miasto Szkla keeps the thirteenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Spojnia and AZS Koszalin. BM Slam Stal will meet at home MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#6) in the next round. Miasto Szkla will play against Asseco Arka (#3) and hope to secure a win.
