Very expected game when 9th ranked Koping Stars (7-20) were defeated on the road by second ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (21-7) 83-65. The game without a history. Norrkoping Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Mikael Lindquist (193-83) accounted for 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. Serbian point guard Aleksa Solevic (188-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Niklas Larsson (199-94) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Koping Stars in the defeat. Defending champion maintains second place with 21-7 record behind leader Sodertalje. Koping Stars lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the ninth position with 20 games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins will again play against Koping Stars (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Koping Stars will have a break next round.
