No shocking result in a game when second ranked Toyota A. (17-3) crushed 7th ranked Chanson V-M (9-11) in Nagoya 87-66 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Toyota A. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The winners were led by guard Miyoshi Minobo (167-93) who scored that evening 16 points and 4 assists and point guard Mai Yamamoto (165-99) supported her with 15 points and 4 assists. Four Toyota A. players scored in double figures. Toyota A.'s coach Ivan Torinos felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points and 5 assists by guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) did not help to save the game for Chanson V-M. The former international center Rika Tanimura (185-93) added 14 points for the guests. Toyota A. have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-3 record having just two points less than leader JX-Eneos S. Chanson V-M lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 11 games lost. Toyota A. will meet league's leader JX-Eneos S. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
