Very predictable result when first ranked Univ.Burgos (15-1) smashed at home bottom-ranked Goierri (4-12) 82-61 on Saturday. Univ.Burgos dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Goierri's 38. Univ.Burgos forced 21 Goierri turnovers and outrebounded them 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of center Mario Tobar (200-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Ayoze Alonso (187-91) who added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Univ.Burgos players scored in double figures. Forward Jon Zabaleta (190) responded with 17 points and guard Inaki Antzizar (183-92) scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. Univ.Burgos have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A-A with 15-1 record. Goierri lost fourth consecutive game.
