Regular Season Round 23: Recy Saint-Martin - Feurs EF 73-86

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Recy Saint-Martin (7-16) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Feurs EF (11-13) 86-73 on Saturday. It was a great evening for point guard Louis Prolhac (175-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 6 assists. Forward Bastien Albert (200-94) helped adding 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Feurs EF players scored in double figures. Adrien Thimon (188-94) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Gautier Lemon (189-84) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Feurs EF. Newly promoted Feurs EF maintains seventh place in Group A with 11-13 record. Recy Saint-Martin at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Feurs EF will face higher ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (#3) in Boulogne-sur-Mer in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Recy Saint-Martin will play at home against Charleville-Mezieres (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
