Important game to mention about took place in Kutno. Eleventh ranked Biofarm PZN (11-11) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Polfarmex (8-14) 64-63 on Saturday evening. Strangely Polfarmex outrebounded Biofarm PZN 45-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. Point guard Marcin Flieger (185-84, agency: Promotex) scored 20 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Adam Metelski (206-83, college: Cal-Irvine) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Bartosz Majewski (190-97) responded with 15 points and swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Biofarm PZN moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Gornik Walbrzych and Pruszkow. Polfarmex at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Ksiezak Lowicz. Biofarm PZN will play against Pruszkow (#9) at home in the next round. Polfarmex will play against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
