There was no surprise in Stalowa Wola where 8th ranked Stal SW (9-11) was defeated by fifth ranked Dziki Wwa (13-8) 79-69 on Saturday. Dziki Wwa forced 21 Stal SW turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) who scored 29 points. Swingman Damian Tokarski (193-88) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Dziki Wwa's coach Piotr Bakun used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Cezary Guminski (192-94) who recorded 27 points and 6 rebounds and forward Marcin Bandyga (188-97) added 14 points respectively. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Dziki Wwa. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with LKS MG13 Lodz. Loser Stal SW dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. Dziki Wwa will face Siarka (#13) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stal SW will play on the road against the league's leader Zubry in Bialystok and hope to win that game.
