Important game to mention about took place in Bratislava. Eighth ranked BAM Poprad (1-2) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Slovan (1-3) 59-56 on Saturday evening. BAM Poprad dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Slovan's 24. The winners were led by center Eva Filickova (191-95) who scored that evening 11 points and 6 rebounds and Slovenian center Teja Gorsic (187-99, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds by center Renata Talajkova (190-81) did not help to save the game for Slovan. Radoslava Ostadalova (182-99) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. BAM Poprad left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with Banska Bystrica and Samorin. It was Slovan's third loss in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with three games lost. They share it with Young Angels. BAM Poprad will play against UKF Nitra (#5) at home in the next round. Slovan will play against Banska Bystrica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
