Regular Season Round 23: GET Vosges - Besancon 76-69

There was an upset in Golbey where higher ranked Besancon (10-13) was defeated by thirteenth ranked GET Vosges (7-16) 76-69 on Saturday. It was a great evening for naturalized Mali point guard Ibrahima Sidibe (180-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. I Fiodorouas helped adding 14 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Congolese center Valentin Mukuna (208-93) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Lithuanian forward Rokas Uzas (202-88) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for GET Vosges. They moved-up to eleventh place in Group A, which they share with Recy Saint-Martin. Newly promoted Besancon dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. GET Vosges will face Aubenas (#14) on the road in the next round.
