Not a big story in a game in Tokyo where 12th ranked Niigata R. (1-20) was rolled over by seventh ranked Chanson V-M (10-11) 84-53 on Saturday. Chanson V-M dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Niigata R.'s 22. Chanson V-M forced 23 Niigata R. turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international center Rika Tanimura (185-93) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Four Chanson V-M players scored in double figures.
