The best player for the winners was American guard Gary Ricks (185-91, college: Drake) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Yancy Gates (206-89, college: Cincinnati) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Four Abejas players scored in double figures.
