Regular Season Round 21: Tromso - Asker Aliens 98-90

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Asker Aliens (3-19) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Tromso (10-12) 98-90. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-18. But Asker Aliens won second period 24-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American forward Cam Gregory (203-95, college: Loyola, MD) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Lawrence is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Jerrod Hendricks (175-91, college: King) answered with 26 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jorgen Onarheim (201-99) added 7 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Asker Aliens. Tromso maintains sixth place with 10-12 record. Asker Aliens lost their fourth game in a row. They stay dead last with 19 lost games. Tromso will play against Ammerud Bskt (#8) in Oslo in the next round. Asker Aliens will play at home against Froya Basket and hope to get back on the winning track.
