Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Pozuelo (7-12) was edged on the road by sixth ranked CB Guadalajara (10-8) 78-77 on Sunday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. CB Guadalajara had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Raul Lazaro (195-87) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian forward Stefan Radosavljevic (206-96, college: Lamar St.CC) who added 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Guard Borja Lopez (187-93) responded with 18 points and center Alejandro Cue (201-92) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five CB Guadalajara and four Pozuelo players scored in double figures. Pozuelo's coach Mariano Arasa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. CB Guadalajara moved-up to fifth place in Group B. Pozuelo lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. CB Guadalajara will face higher ranked Alcobendas (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pozuelo will play against Zentro Basket (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
