Very expected game when 15th ranked Pistoia Basket (5-14) lost to fifth ranked Happy Casa BR (12-7) in Brindisi 70-80 on Sunday. Happy Casa BR looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Pistoia Basket's players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward John Brown-III (201-92, college: High Point) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) accounted for 21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. American point guard Kerron Johnson (183-90, college: Belmont) came up with 14 points and 4 assists and American-Gambian forward Ousman Krubally (202-88, college: Georgia St.) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Pistoia Basket in the defeat. Four Pistoia Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Happy Casa BR have an impressive series of five victories in a row.
