An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tokyo. First ranked Tokyo Excel. faced second-best Toyoda Gosei. Host Tokyo Excel. (24-2) defeated guests from Aichi (19-7) 88-73. It was a good game for American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: Colorado Mesa) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Tokyo Excel. players scored in double figures. American-Irish Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and American Patrick Simon (203-92, college: Seattle Pacific) added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Toyoda Gosei.
