Very expected game in Vantaa where 11th ranked PuHu Juniorit (2-15) was crushed by fifth ranked Raiders Basket (11-6) 103-74 on Sunday. The game without a history. Raiders Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Raiders Basket forced 19 PuHu Juniorit turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Derylton Hill (196-94, college: Ark.-Monticello) who scored 26 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The other American import guard Jordan Jacks (196-94, college: Ky Wesleyan) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Raiders Basket players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Valtteri Leino (183-95) who recorded 20 points and forward Mahmoud Mohamed (194-97) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Raiders Basket maintains fifth position in Division with 11-6 record. Loser PuHu Juniorit dropped to the twelfth place with 15 games lost. Raiders Basket will meet Espoo Basket (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. PuHu Juniorit will play against Raholan Pyrkiva in Tampere and hope to secure a win.
