It was a great shooting night for Toyotsu FE especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. It was a good game for American forward Cherif Sow (201-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Kei Sugimoto (182-92) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Toyotsu FE players scored in double figures. American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-91) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Yamagata. Toyotsu FE maintains second place with 25-14 record having just three points less than leader Shinshu BW, which they share with Sendai 89ers. Loser Yamagata dropped to the fourth position with 23 games lost. Toyotsu FE will face Kagawa FA (#6) in Takamatsu in the next round. Yamagata will play on the road against Bambitious Nara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
