The game between Top Four teams took place in Michoacan. 3rd placed host Aaguacateros (19-15) lost to second ranked Soles (21-12) 80-76. Soles outrebounded Aaguacateros 47-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Lance Goulbourne (203-89, college: Vanderbilt) who led the winners and scored 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Branden Dawson (198-93, college: Michigan St.) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Aaguacateros players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Soles. They used an opportunity after Capitanes lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Aaguacateros lost their third game in a row. They keep the third place with 15 games lost. Soles will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aaguacateros will play again at home against the league's second-placed Soles and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
