Serie A top team - Armani Milano (16-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked VL Pesaro (6-13) 111-74. Armani Milano shot the lights out from three nailing 19 long-distance shots on high 52.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by VL Pesaro's players. It was a great evening for American guard James Nunnally (201-90, college: UCSB) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). International Amedeo Della-Valle (192-93, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 17 points and 9 assists. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Lamond Murray-Jr (196-94, college: Pepperdine) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Erik McCree (203-93, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-3 record. VL Pesaro lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Fiat TO. Armani Milano will play against Fiat TO (#14) in Torino in the next round which should be another easy win for them. VL Pesaro will play at home against Germani BR and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
