Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Scauri (10-10) outscored at home bottom-ranked Battipaglia (0-21) 88-67 on Sunday. Scauri dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Battipaglia's 28. They outrebounded Battipaglia 43-29 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Andrea Longobardi (199-94) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winners and point guard Antonio Gallo (188-0, agency: Players Group) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
