The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked Hornets (27-29) in Charlotte on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by second ranked Pacers (38-19) 99-90. Strangely Hornets outrebounded Pacers 51-39 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Power forward Myles Turner (211-96, college: Texas) stepped up and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and point guard Darren Collison (183-87, college: UCLA) chipped in 13 points and 8 assists. Four Pacers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Kemba Walker (185-90, college: Connecticut) with 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Jeremy Lamb (196-92, college: Connecticut) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pacers have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 38-19 record having just twelve point less than leader Toronto R. Hornets at the other side still keep top position with 29 games lost.
