There was a surprise result in Poznan where thirteenth ranked SMS PZKosz (4-14) edged higher ranked Suchy Las (7-12) 84-81 on Tuesday. They outrebounded Suchy Las 54-32 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Michal Krasuski (196-0) who scored 31 points and 6 rebounds. Adrian Sobkowiak (185-1) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Marcin Woroniecki (190-0) who recorded 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Aleksander Wisniewski (193-3) added 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. SMS PZKosz moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Trefl II Sopot. Suchy Las lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. SMS PZKosz will face higher ranked Tarnovia (#11) in Tarnowo Podgorne in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
