Third-ranked Kings (30-27) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Nuggets (39-18) in Sacramento. The visitors from Denver managed to secure only two-point victory 120-118. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kings. Nuggets made 22-of-25 charity shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a great evening for Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists. Forward Paul Millsap (203-85, college: Louisiana Tech) helped adding 25 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Harrison Barnes (203-92, college: N.Carolina) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Bahamas guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Four Nuggets and five Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Nuggets maintains first place with 39-18 record. Kings at the other side keep the third position with 27 games lost.
