Important game to mention about took place in Tbilisi. Sixth ranked Mgzavrebi (6-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Delta (6-4) 70-67 in the fight for the third place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Delta. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Delta won fourth quarter 17-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mgzavrebi made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Adrian Bowie (189-89, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import forward Jacoby Armstrong (201-95, college: New Hampshire) contributed with 17 points for the winners. The former international power forward Beka Bekauri (207-91) replied with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 7 blocks and American guard Eric Nottage (189-94, college: FIU, agency: Court Side) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Delta. Mgzavrebi moved-up to third place, which they share with Delta and TSU-Hyundai. Mgzavrebi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi TSU-Hyundai.
