Regular Season Round 15: Triglav - Buducnost 63-83

The game in Kranj supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (7-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Slovenian Triglav (3-7). Buducnost did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 83-63 on Thursday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-63. Buducnost dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Triglav's 26 and made 25-of-26 free shots (96.2 percent) during the game, while Triglav only scored seven points from the stripe. Buducnost forced 20 Triglav turnovers and outrebounded them 37-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Bosnian power forward Nikolina Dzebo (186-95) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Bosnian guard Tamara Kapor (184-91, agency: ProDep Management) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Katarina Ristic (170-84, agency: Two Points) who recorded 23 points and 5 assists and point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93) added 16 points respectively. Triglav's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending Montenegrin champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Montana. Loser Triglav keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Buducnost will meet at home Montana 2003 (#4) in the next round. Triglav will have a break next round.
