There was no surprise when 15th ranked Quimper UJAP (6-13) was outleveled on the road by eleventh ranked Paris (9-10) 93-74. Paris forced 21 Quimper UJAP turnovers. Strangely Quimper UJAP outrebounded Paris 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Point guard Sylvain Francisco (180-97) fired 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. American forward Dustin Sleva (203-95, college: Shippensburg, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Paris' coach Jean-Christophe Prat allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Angolan center Valdelicio Joaquim (208-90, college: Hawaii, agency: Duran International) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Lucas Dussoulier (203-96) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Paris moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Lille. Quimper UJAP lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 13 games lost. Paris' next round opponent will be higher ranked Entente Orleans 45 (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Quimper UJAP will play against ADA Blois (#8) and hope to win that game.
