An interesting game for MBG (4-0) which hosted in 3rd ranked Vera (2-2). Top-ranked MBG managed to get a 4-point victory 92-88. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 26-20 run, which allowed them to win the game. MBG forced 20 Vera turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Corey Sanders (188-97, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 steals and the other American import guard Micah Seaborn (196-95, college: Monmouth) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Bryson Scott (188-94, college: PFW) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Serbian forward Ivan Saicic (201-93, college: Oklahoma City) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vera's coach Temur Kankia rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MBG have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with CIU. Vera at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. MBG will play against league's leader CIU in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vera will play against Abkhazeti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
