The game in Peja supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Trepca (9-10) played at the court of 7th ranked Borea (3-16). Trepca smashed Borea 149-55 on Friday. Trepca dominated down low during the game scoring 100 of its points in the paint compared to Borea's 46. Trepca forced 32 Borea turnovers and outrebounded them 59-46 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 40 assists comparing to just 27 passes made by Borea's players. It was a great evening for point guard Ramadan Zekiqi (187-99) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. American power forward Harold Ridgeway (203, college: Midland) helped adding 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Trepca players scored in double figures. At the losing side Aron Laja responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Albanian L Shehu produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Trepca maintains fifth place with 9-10 record, which they share with Bashkimi. Borea lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost. They share it with Lipjani. Trepca will meet at home higher ranked Prizreni (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Borea will play against Bashkimi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
