Rather expected game when 10th ranked Karditsas (8-10) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Ippokratis (11-7) 79-71. Ippokratis players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Forward Antonis Asimakopoulos (203-76) notched 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Ioannis Chatzinikolas (196-95) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Chatzinikolas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 19 points and 4 assists by guard Nikos Kaklamanos (189-81) did not help to save the game for Karditsas. Guard Spyros Magounis (200-85) added 17 points and 8 rebounds.
