There was a surprise result when tenth ranked L'Hospitalet (8-14) smashed at home higher ranked Azuqueca (11-11) 80-59 on Saturday. L'Hospitalet dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Azuqueca's 30. Guard Edgar San-Epifanio (196-87) scored 12 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Garret Covington (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Two Points) chipped in 15 points during the contest. L'Hospitalet's coach Jose Manuel Hoya felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
