Regular Season Round 40: Shimane SM - Shinshu BW 54-75

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Shimane Magic (29-12) at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by Shinshu BW (33-8) 75-54. Worth to mention a great performance of American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) added 17 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Shimane Magic. Shinshu BW have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 33-8 record which they share with defeated Shimane Magic. Shimane Magic at the other side still keeps top place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Kumamoto V.. Shinshu BW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Shimane Magic will play again at home against the league's leader Shinshu BW and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
