Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Nassau: Giants (#1) and Pros (#8). Pros were smashed at home by 41 points 56-97 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Giants dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pros' 38. They outrebounded Pros 56-38 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Giants looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International guard Jackson Jacob (186, college: NAIT) scored 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Gameliel Rose chipped in 23 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Judino Wilson responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Colton Albury scored 11 points and 4 assists. Giants (12-0) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 12 victories in a row. Loser Pros dropped to the bottom place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Defenders. Giants' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Nassau to the arena Mingoes.
