Regular Season Round 40: Bambitious Nara - Yamagata 72-65

There was a minor upset when their close opponent Yamagata (16-25) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Bambitious Nara (12-28) 72-65 on Saturday. Bambitious Nara dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Yamagata's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) fired a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Guard Yutaka Yokoe (176-89) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Guard Yoshifumi Nakajima (176-90) produced 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) added 15 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bambitious Nara maintains fifth position with 12-28 record which they share with defeated Yamagata.
