Everything went according to plan when first ranked Algeciras (16-2) outleveled at home 8th ranked Real Betis II (3-14) 75-50 on Saturday. Algeciras dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Real Betis II's 30. Algeciras forced 19 Real Betis II turnovers and outrebounded them 44-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Andrew Kelly (201-91, college: Alaska-Fairb.) who scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.
