No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Rueil (12-10) defeated on the road 11th ranked Toulouse (9-14) 107-92 on Saturday. Rueil forced 19 Toulouse turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Masse Doumbe (201-87, college: Keiser) who scored 24 points. Swingman Steven Ricard (200-90) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Keonta Vernon (198-94, college: Grand Canyon) who recorded 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and guard Pascal Tajan (191-91) added 11 points, 9 assists and 5 steals respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rueil moved-up to seventh place in Group B. Toulouse lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Rueil will face league's leader Vendee Challans on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Toulouse will play against Union Tours (#5) and hope to win that game.
