Regular Season Round 15: Kvarner 2010 - Rudes 84-91

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Kvarner (5-10) lost to eleventh ranked Bulldogs (5-10) in Rijeka 84-91. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-20. But Kvarner won third quarter 22-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bulldogs made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Bulldogs outrebounded Kvarner 48-31 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Tomislav Cvitkovic (206-98) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Luka Ljubicic (200-96) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Matija Bilalovic (200-97) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and Luka Vucic (197-99) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Five Bulldogs and four Kvarner players scored in double figures. Bulldogs moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Kvarner 2010 and Universitas. Kvarner lost seventh consecutive game. Bulldogs will have a break next round.
