Regular Season Round 24: Polfarmex Kutno - Pogon Prudnik 82-76

An interesting game took place in Kutno, where higher ranked Pogon Prudnik (11-13) lost to fourteenth ranked Polfarmex (9-15) in a road game 76-82 on Saturday. Strangely Pogon Prudnik outrebounded Polfarmex 42-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard January Sobczak (179-97) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Szymon Pawlak (192-98) chipped in 17 points. Four Polfarmex players scored in double figures. Polfarmex's coach Jaroslaw Krysiewicz used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Marcin Sroka (201-81) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Polfarmex moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Ksiezak Lowicz. Loser Pogon Prudnik keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Polfarmex will face higher ranked STK Czarni (#7) in Slupsk in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
