Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Nice (3-11) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Toulouse (9-4) 72-57. Toulouse shot 20 for 28 from the free-throw line, while Nice only scored three points from the stripe. Nice was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Isabelle Strunc (180-91) notched 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American center Kaylee Jensen (193-96, college: Oklahoma St.) supported her with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Even 8 points and 11 rebounds by Mali center Astan Dabo (203-92) did not help to save the game for Nice. Guard Margot Vidal-Geneve (165-95, agency: Two Points) added 7 points and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toulouse have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Angers. Nice lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 11 games lost.
