Regular Season Round 24: CFBB - La Charite 47-83

Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-22) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 83-47 loss to sixth ranked La Charite (13-10) in Paris on Saturday evening. They made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game, while CFBB only scored five points from the stripe. La Charite forced 21 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) who scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Burkinabe swingman Joris Bado (193-91) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Yvan Ouedraogo (201-2) who recorded 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Timothe Crusol (192-1) added 11 points respectively. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. La Charite moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Angers and Union Tours. Loser CFBB still closes the standings with 22 games lost. La Charite will face Vitre (#8) on the road in the next round. CFBB will play against Lourdes-Tarbes (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
