We should mention about the upset which took place in Kavala, where higher ranked Kastoria (9-9) lost to fifteenth ranked Kavala (5-13) in a road game 67-76 on Saturday. Point guard Sokratis Naoumis (189-97) scored 20 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Giorgos Fliatis (191-88) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian forward Svetozar Stamenkovic (206-90) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Savas Chrysopoulos (200-89) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds.
