Rather predictable result in Takamatsu where second ranked Toyotsu FE (25-16) beat 6th ranked Kagawa FA (10-30) 82-67 on Saturday. Toyotsu FE looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Kagawa FA's players. The game was dominated by American players. Center Garrett Stutz (214-90, college: Wichita St.) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: Washington St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Toyotsu FE players scored in double figures. Forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds and center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyotsu FE maintains second position with 25-16 record having five points less than leader Shinshu BW, which they share with Cyberdyne IR. Loser Kagawa FA keeps the sixth place with 30 games lost. Toyotsu FE will have a break next round. Kagawa FA will play again at home against the league's second-placed Toyotsu FE (#2) and hope to win that game.
