There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Reggio Emilia (9-13) edged at home higher ranked Juvi Cremona (13-9) 73-71 on Sunday. Strangely Juvi Cremona outrebounded Reggio Emilia 43-25 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Juvi Cremona was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Gianluca Marchetti (178-93) scored 17 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Enrico Germani (199-92) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Four Reggio Emilia players scored in double figures. At the losing side Marco Bona (187-89, agency: Two Points) responded with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Sadikh Ndiaye-Ababacar (195-90, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds.
