Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Valls Nutrion (7-10) won against on the road 14th ranked Salt (2-15) 73-63 on Sunday. They outrebounded Salt 41-22 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Jordi Llagostera (180-95) who scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Oriol Besora (182-97) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Marc Juanola (192-92) who recorded 13 points and forward Albert Pujolras (194-88) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Valls Nutrion maintains tenth place in Group C-A with 7-10 record. Salt lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Valls Nutrion will face higher ranked Igualada (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Salt will play against Castellbisbal (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
