Very predictable result when third ranked Leganes (12-6) smashed on the road 10th ranked Granada (5-13) 76-55 on Sunday. Leganes forced 21 Granada turnovers. Celia Menendez (186-90, agency: ProDep Management) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Dominican guard Yohanna Morton (172-87, college: Robert Morris) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Leganes players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Latvian center Marta Miscenko (193-95, college: Wingate) with 5 points and 13 rebounds and forward Rebeca Rodriguez (180-93) scored 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leganes maintains third position in Group B with 12-6 record having five points less than leader Campus Promete. Granada lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 13 games lost.
