Regular Season Round 15: Jazine - Zaprude 80-69

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Jazine as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Jazine defeated 7th ranked Zaprude in Zadar 80-69. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 11 points. It was a good game for point guard Josip Gulam (188-95) who led his team to a victory with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Bosnian guard Tihomir Vranjes (195-95) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Tomislav Garvanovic answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and forward Braslav Turic (201-94) added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Zaprude. Zaprude's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jazine have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Sonik Puntamika. Newly promoted Zaprude dropped to the eighth place with nine games lost. Zaprude will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Jazine will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Zaprude at home.
