An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Gunma. First ranked Gunma faced 4th ranked Fukushima. Host Gunma (32-11) smashed guests from Fukushima (18-25) 106-64. Gunma made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Gunma outrebounded Fukushima 45-27 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best for the losing side was Vincentian power forward Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) with 22 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gunma have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 32-11 record. Fukushima lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 25 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
